From this past Friday night until next Monday, Jason and I have our nephew and two nieces (which is why I was at a football game yesterday all by my lonesome). I have planned the weekdays full of fun activities, of which they have no clue what they are. I made up a pirate themed “travel brochure” giving details of what they should pack – besides the obvious items like underwear and a toothbrush and listed the “port cities” that we would be visiting. They reason that I went with the pirates and ports are because their mom and dad are on an Alaskan cruise and, well, it went along with that. They got their brochures and have been trying to guess where we are going since. Stay tuned this week for our “Port Ahoy Matey” adventures!

Go Panthers Go! Move People Move!
This morning I am at my nephew Ryan’s football game. (I love laptops!) He had to be here an hour before his game started and when we got here there was a game going on. It was so stinking cute – the players had to be like six! They were so into it! They were rubbing each other s heads after great plays and they run so fast for being so small. My nephew’s game is just starting and I thought that I had picked a good place to set my chair – that is until two groups of people decided that the best place for them to stand was right in front of me! How freaking rude these people are. Now I am stuck getting only the occasional glimpse of the field when they shift their weight. And it’s not like I can even move my chair because over the last hour, all the places have been taken. Sometimes I really hate people! I had also brought my camera to take pictures, but alas, the batteries have perished. Grrrrr…
So, now it's halftime and the sea of people standing in my way has cleared. Yeah!
Third Quarter... Now there is some annoying parent from the other team. The other team scored a touchdown and the dad starts yelling over and over "we're not the same team you saw last year, are we?" I want to go smack the guy. Oh, cool, our team has just scored not one, but two touchdowns. Hooray! That shut Mr. Annoying up!
Well, now the game is over and the Panthers have won 49-14! Oh, and by the way, I'm way burned. Ouch!

Working Nine To Five
This week I went back to work. Luckily, it was only for the week. The nutritionist that I worked for before I had Dillon needed some help in the office, so I gladly filled in. I worked 9:00 – 3:30 every day except for Tuesday, which I worked until 1:00. It was so hard being a working mom. I felt so sad leaving my baby – even though I knew he was in good hands. My dad so nicely took three vacation days and watched him Monday, Wednesday and Friday. Susan and Ryan came and watched him the other two days. On the days that I had to take Dillon to my dad’s, I had to leave an hour before I had to be to work. I had to drive almost ten miles the opposite way and then back past my house to the job that is like five minutes from home. Midweek poor little Dillon started having some “stomach issues” and then I really felt sad to leave him – I just wanted to stay home and cuddle with him. By Friday, he had caught on to the fact that he was going to be left and didn’t want me to pass him off to my dad. We had to distract him with breakfast so that I could slip out the door. I am thankful that I had the opportunity to earn some extra money, but am even more thankful that I am able to be home with Dillon
