I have been waiting for months for my birthday so that I could get my new camera. I still adore my little point and shoot camera but I am absolutely in LOVE with my new DSLR camera. It makes it so much easier to take the kinds of pictures that I want. I have been told before that I am a good photographer and now with the new camera - the sky is the limit. I haven't had much to take pictures of yet, so I just wandered around the backyard and took pictures of plants and whatnot (and a few of the kids).

We have one too and we love it. My husband does more with it than me but they are such nice cameras.
