Cake Class: Revisited

Last night I finished up Course 2 in the Wilton Method classes. This class mostly covered making flowers out of royal icing. They are really cool because you can make the flowers ahead of time because they keep for forever. They don't taste great and are hard as rocks, but they look awesome. Each week we made flowers that we would take home and let dry and then we brought them back to the last class to decorate our cakes with. I am really happy with how my cake turned out - I didn't think I would like it because I didn't really like the one in the book.
