Today is Jordan's eleventh birthday and I decided to take the kids to Disneyland to celebrate. Our first stop of the day was breakfast at Goofy's Kitchen. It is a breakfast buffet where different Disney characters come and visit you at your table. I wasn't really sure how Dillon would handle it - if he would be excited or scared - but I was totally shocked at his actual reaction... He could care less! Goofy came up behind him shortly after he started eating and he didn't even bat an eyelash - he just kept eating. I couldn't help but laugh at his reaction - or rather - his lack there of.
After breakfast we headed into the park and rode a few rides and then went to California Adventure and walked around. Both parks were so stinking crowded and it was hot so we headed to Downtown Disney so that Jordan could do some birthday shopping. Disney has a promotion going this year that you get in free on your birthday, but since we all have passes, she was given a gift card to redeem for merchandise - in the amount of nearly seventy dollars! She was walking around looking for things to buy when Dillon spotted a "big Nemo" stuffed animal. He gave her sad puppy eyes and suckered her into buying it for him. When she was finished shopping we headed home for some Corned Beef and Cabbage for dinner. It was a good day from start to finish.
